Position Purpose:  Full time pursuit of sales of CI Select's flooring products and services. To seek and secure new business opportunities in the St. Louis market by developing new leads and prospects through own connections, resources and network associations. Successfully negotiate contract terms, pricing agreements and direct service rates.

 

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Use best efforts to generate new business leads
  • Conduct routine cold calls as part of business development strategy
  • Follow up on all leads provided by CI Select and communicate results
  • Qualify all potential leads
  • Register new accounts with Director of Sales
  • Skillfully negotiate and close sales
  • Provide monthly sales forecast detailing projects/prospects being pursued, scope of such projects and expected close date
  • Prepare sale proposals
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas
  • Maintain excellent customer relations
  • Work with customers and support team to develop complete project specification
  • Support Accounts Receivable's staff efforts in the collection of past due invoices
  • Safeguard all company issued equipment and report any problems or malfunctions
