Position Purpose: This position is responsible for receiving, delivering, installation, and services of CI Select's furniture and related products. As a member of the Operations Team, this position will deliver excellent customer service to all clients, while being a positive member of the team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Report to work on time and ready for duty.
  • Review projects with lead installer and/or Project Manager; understand scope of work and plan for completing project.
  • Frequently assist with unloading furniture and delivering to client's office space.
  • Properly and safely assemble furniture per plan.
  • Perform job responsibilities in an organized, efficient, and safe manner.
  • Be professional at all times, respecting client work environment.
  • Accurately complete time card, including hours worked by day and job number.
  • Maintain tools and equipment.
  • Operate safely, be aware of hazardous conditions. Report all unsafe conditions to your manager, and wear proper PP&E when appropriate.
  • Communicate professionally with customers to inform them of progress, build trust and confidence, resolve issues, and enhance their overall experience.
  • Manage difficult or emotional customer situations and maintain highest level of customer service; respond promptly to customer requests for service and assistance.
  • Adapt well to changes in the work environment - scheduling, delays, or unexpected situations.
  • Maintain commitments; commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals/completion.
  • Follow instructions; respond to management direction; take responsibility for own actions; willing to ask questions.
  • Assist with other CI Select needs and operational tasks.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Field service experience in the commercial furniture industry, furniture moving and installation experience, warehouse receiving and delivery experience, carpentry experience, or construction experience preferred.
  • Class E license preferred.
  • Basic computer entry skills and ability to use other devices: such as an iPad.
  • Certifications and licenses or vendor specific training courses may be required to become a certified installation technician.
