Position Purpose:

Full time pursuit of sales of CI Select's furniture products and services to end users. To seek and secure new business opportunities in the St. Louis market by developing new leads and prospects through own connections, resources, general contractors, A&D firms and network associations. Successfully negotiate contract terms, pricing agreements and direct service rates. Successfully assist in managing installations in conjunction with field project manager, vendor partners and other CI Select associates.

 

 

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Use best efforts to generate new business leads.
  • Perform a minimum of 6-8 new customer presentations per week.
  • Make a minimum of 30-50 calls to end user prospects per week.
  • Conduct routine cold calls with end users/general contractors/A&D as part of business development strategy.
  • Follow up on all leads provided by CI Select and communicate results to management.
  • Qualify all potential leads.
  • Register new accounts with Director of Sales.
  • Skillfully negotiate and close sales.
  • Provide monthly sales forecast detailing projects/prospects being pursued, scope of such projects and expected close date.
  • Prepare sale proposals within company guidelines.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas.
  • Maintain excellent customer, prospect and vendor relations.
  • Work with customers and support team (in-house or external) to develop complete project specification; accurate orders are the responsibility of the salesperson.
  • Manage and oversee installation of furniture installations in conjunction with Field Project Manager until project/punch list completion.
  • Keep in contact with team members and notify Director of Sales of schedules and availability.
  • Identify and resolve any customer issues that surface, complete customer satisfaction is expected at all times.
  • Maintain a professional and respectful relationship with team members, support staff and vendor contacts.
  • Responsible for advising customer of CI Select's terms and conditions of sale and deposit requirements.
  • Support Accounts Receivable staff efforts in the collection of past due invoices when applicable.
  • Attend all training sessions prescribed by Director of Sales.
  • Safeguard all company issued equipment and report any problems or malfunctions immediately to your supervisor.
