AV Account Manager
Functional Responsibilities:
- Use best efforts to generate new business leads.
- Conduct routine cold calls as part of business development strategy.
- Follow up on all leads provided by CI Select and communicate results to management.
- Qualify all potential leads.
- Register new accounts with Director of Sales.
- Skillfully negotiate and close sales.
- Provide monthly sales forecast detailing projects/prospects being pursued, scope of such projects and expected close date.
- Prepare sale proposals within company guidelines.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas.
- Maintain excellent customer relations.
- Work with customers and support team to develop complete project specification, accurate orders are the responsibility of the salesperson.
- Keep in contact with team members and notify Director of Sales of schedules and availability.
- Identify and resolve any customer issues that surface, complete customer satisfaction is expected at all times.
- Maintain a professional and respectful relationship with team members and support staff.
- Responsible for advising customer of CI Select's terms and conditions of sale and deposit requirements.
- Support Accounts Receivable's staff efforts in the collection of past due invoices.
- Attend all training sessions prescribed by Director of Sales.
- Safeguard all company issued equipment and report any problems or malfunctions immediately to your supervisor.
Knowledge/Skills/Attributes Needed:
- Considerable knowledge of AV/IT industry and system integration.
- Proficiency in use of desktop software.
- Highly motivated and goal oriented.
- Ability to manage a $2 million dollar and above quota
- Proven track record of selling business-to-business with progressively improved results.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Professional conduct and appearance.
- Confidence and above average presentation skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization.
- Maturity to work with little supervision and establish priorities.
- Above average planning, organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to direct and lead others.
- Commitment to safety in all work practices.
- Adherence to all company policies and rules
- Ability to create a team spirit uniting the efforts of all team members.
Education/Certification/Experience Needed:
- College degree preferred.
- 3-5 years experience in systems sales.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
