Director of Operations

Strategic Responsibilities:

  • Identify and deliver operational efficiencies, process improvement and technologies to help profitability scale the organization for continued and sustainable growth.

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for development and monitoring of budgets.
  • Coach and conduct both annual and ongoing performance reviews of all direct reports.
  • Create and uphold standard operating procedures, process improvements, and procedure compliance across business units.
  • Oversight of IT.
  • Establish and maintain turnaround standards.
  • Assess company operational needs and workload.
  • Provide daily coaching & motivation to direct reports in a mentor/role model capacity.
  • Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with direct reports.
  • Weekly update with President.
  • Responsible for ensuring quarterly EOS company updates are completed disbursed company-wide.
  • Review and approve team member expense reports, operating within the approved expense plan.
  • Review and approve team member PTO requests.
  • Develop relevant job costing reports.
  • Availability and willingness to strategize with and provide assistance to any employee of CI Select in order to meet business needs; including coaching/mentoring, attending team meetings and/or client presentations, or creating introductions within professional network.
  • Participation in business strategy and annual operating plan development.
  • Maintain favorable union relationships and contracts.
  • Act as a liaison with sales and design directors to ensure company-wide goals are met.
  • Ensuring safety compliance.
  • Oversight of Field Services.
  • Oversight of warehouse operations.
  • Development of strategic alliances with appropriate firms.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with key vendors.

  • Project Management: understanding of execution of large, complex projects.
  • Financial Management: prepare and manage budgets within area of responsibility.
  • Above average planning and organization skills.
  • Exceptional skill level in MS Office.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Professional conduct and appearance.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization.
  • Associates or Bachelor degree in field related to business, interior architecture/design, or construction management.
  • 10+ years in customer service, account management or project management.
  • Valid state issued driver's license with favorable driving record.
  • Proof of personal automobile liability insurance.
  • Ability to bend, reach and lift up to 20 lbs.
