Human Resources Manager

Responsibilites:

  • Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding.
  • Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations.
  • Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities.
  • Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date and update applicable compensation plans annually or as needed.
  • Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution.
  • Ensure the organization's compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
  • Roll out annual performance evaluations and keep all documentation.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for union relations.
  • Maintain employee records.
  • Update and maintain CI Select's employee and safety handbooks.
  • Handle employee relations concerns with respect, dignity, and tactfulness.
  • Reviews and recommends policy and procedure update in compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
  • Administers various employee benefits programs including group medical/vision, dental, life and supplemental insurances.
  • Responsible for monitoring FMLA and employee accommodation requests.
  • Manage workers compensation insurance claims, i.e. submit any work related injury documentation to Work Comp carrier and ensure that Warehouse Operations Manager tracks injuries and Osha 300 logs and postings.
  • Identifying and clarifying employee issues and implementing solutions, including coaching and counseling.
  • Maintain confidentiality for HR related issues.
  • Assist in employee focused event planning, i.e. new hire happy hour, recognition events, etc.
  • Conduct Affirmative Action plan annually.
  • Continually manage CI Select's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and initiatives.
  • Maintain CI Select committees and membership logs.
  • Maintain company computer, property and licensure logs.
  • Complete weekly payroll and processing of union benefits.
  • Administration of pay garnishments.
  • Complete EEOC surveys on an annual basis.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business required.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as HR Supervisor/Manager or HRBP.
  • Highly proficient with MS Office.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast pace environment.
  • Knowledge of Paychex Flex and AAIMTrack or comparable software.
